Any interest in visiting the school library throughout the summer? Wanted to invite parents to get ahold of me if so! Depending on interest, I could set a bimonthly time where parents and kids could visit the school and get new books! Thanks! - Sara

Thank a Teacher!!

Beautiful day to explore the Musselshell River bottom. Huge thank you to Sneed Collard, Montana author and bird enthusiast, for guiding our expedition. Shout out to the chaperones, school staff, and the awesome students who helped make today a wonderful memory. Favorite sightings for the day: a killdeer (miraculously spotted by Jacob) and a red tailed hawk (another spectacular student find by Miss Ellie). Take away lesson from our guest speaker- life may not always go as planned, but when you let your passions guide you - you will have a joyful life.

Bird Watching Field Day- Grades 5-7 coming up this Thursday May 4th! Remember to bring your binoculars with you to school on Thursday. Please label them with your name (like a sticky label or a tag with string) to avoid any confusion. Looking forward to a fun afternoon!

Just some clarification about students leaving the building for lunch from the student handbook.
Leaving School Grounds: All students will remain on the school grounds once they have driven, walked, or ridden the bus onto school property, with the following exceptions:
Students may leave the school grounds only with specific permission from the superintendent or the principal.
At lunchtime, students may go home or eat downtown. Students must sign out before leaving for lunch and must sign in when returning from lunch. Students will not be allowed to sign out at any other time, except for lunch, without permission. They must be back on school property prior to the afternoon warning bell or risk loss of this privilege. Students are not allowed to ride in any vehicle unless it is the student’s parent or guardian.

Join us at the school Thursday, May 4th. Excited to invite Montana author, Sneed Collard III to our community. Help spread the word and share in an event promoting reading in our youth! Sneed will have a few books available for purchase after his presentation.
