As our school district has learned the sad news of Katie’s passing, it is with heavy hearts that we mourn the death of our beloved staff member. Katie touched the lives of so many people in our school and community. We will forever be grateful for the positive impact she made on all of us. Our deepest condolences go out to the entire family. Things have been put in place to have extra support staff here at school over the next couple of days to help students and staff with this difficult loss. If you feel your child is in need of this service, please don’t hesitate to let us know.

Positive Note of the Day! This week is National Teacher Appreciation Week, so Melstone Public Schools is honoring and celebrating our educators who have worked hard, especially this year, to close the COVID academic gap. Our teachers have made fantastic gains with our students to ensure that they will not be behind no matter what has been thrown their way! #supportourschool #1dayuntilmilllevyvote

Positive Note of the Day! Melstone Public School has provided personal, private tele-counseling for the first time in 2020-2021 school year making mental health and social/emotional learning a priority for all of our students. This comes at an extremely important time to help our students cope with the many changes we've all faced this year. #supportourschool #4daysuntilmilllevyvote
