Just some clarification about students leaving the building for lunch from the student handbook.
Leaving School Grounds: All students will remain on the school grounds once they have driven, walked, or ridden the bus onto school property, with the following exceptions:
Students may leave the school grounds only with specific permission from the superintendent or the principal.
At lunchtime, students may go home or eat downtown. Students must sign out before leaving for lunch and must sign in when returning from lunch. Students will not be allowed to sign out at any other time, except for lunch, without permission. They must be back on school property prior to the afternoon warning bell or risk loss of this privilege. Students are not allowed to ride in any vehicle unless it is the student’s parent or guardian.
Join us at the school Thursday, May 4th. Excited to invite Montana author, Sneed Collard III to our community. Help spread the word and share in an event promoting reading in our youth! Sneed will have a few books available for purchase after his presentation.
Parents - friendly reminder for grades 5 - 7 to please bring permission slips for the Sneed Collard III author visit coming up May 4th. Grades K-7 were also sent home with book order forms if interested! (Any books ordered will be signed by Sneed and brought to the assembly.)
Please bring any book order forms and/or permission slips by tomorrow, Monday April 24th.
Community and parents are also invited to attend Sneed's assembly. Informational poster will be posted soon.

School is cancelled for today!! NWE still does not have a time table when it will be up and running. At this point a decision has been made to cancel all day

National Guard Day in Billings for the Juniors and Seniors. Inside the Blackhawk
The school will be used Saturday April 1st to conduct emergency training for first responders. Please do not be alarmed if there are emergency personnel, or training simulations. This is not an April fool's joke!
Ski Students for tomorrow: Please be at the school by 5:00 to leave Melstone at 5:15. We should be in Musselshell by 5:30 at the Musselshell School to pick up kids.
Remember Parent Teacher Conferences tomorrow, March 29th from 2:30-5:30 p.m. School will dismiss at 2:30 p.m.

With the current icy and windy conditions, school will begin at 10am tomorrow, Tuesday March 7th. There will be buses running just two hours later than usual. No breakfast.
Please remember no school on Monday, March 13 but Friday March 17th is a school day.
