“Why do you go away? So that you can come back. So that you can see the place you came from with new eyes and extra colors. And the people there see you differently, too. Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving.” ― Terry Pratchet On the road to FFA National Convention - made it to Rapid City on Sunday evening and a visit to Mount Rushmore this morning.

From Mrs. Kamerman (Math/Science): Saturday morning, October 14th, a “Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse will be visible between 9:10 to 11:50am as it crosses North America, “But Montanans need to be careful watching the eclipse”, says Walt McIntosh, President of the Montana Youth Aerospace Project (MYAP) and a Civil Air Patrol (CAP) Aerospace Education Officer. “Without proper eye protection the sun can seriously hurt our eyes and even blind us. Regular sunglasses won’t protect your eyes.” **In the entrance to the Melstone School Gym are solar viewing cereal boxes made by the Physical Science students that use reflection & refraction to safely view the eclipse.
